   1. Classification by purpose
   Engineering drills are mainly used in construction and construction. There are many specifications of this kind of engineering drills, and the amount is large, and a special main product series has been formed
  Industrial drills are mainly used for drilling and coring. They are mainly used for product processing, such as the cutting of wide screen and wide lens, and the nesting of silicon wafers.

   2. Classification according to its manufacturing method
  The hot pressing method is similar to the hot pressing manufacturing method of geologically impregnated drill bits. A ferrule can be made first and then welded on the steel body, or it can be directly hot pressed on the steel body.
  The electroplating method is similar to the manufacturing process of electroplated drill bits. Electroplating method can be divided into epitaxial growth method and conventional method.
   The quality of the bit, whether the bit type and the formation lithology are suitable, play an important role in accelerating the drilling speed and increasing the footage of a single bit. To drill an oil and gas well, multiple drill bits of different sizes are generally used. When drilling the upper strata, a drill bit with a larger diameter is used. Because the strata drilled by the drill bit is soft, a single bit has a large footage and a short use time. Several wells can be reused; and a smaller diameter drill bit should be used when drilling the lower stratum. Because the formation is hard and the footage of a single drill bit is small, multiple drill bits are generally used. The drilling footage of a new drill bit mainly depends on the size and type of the drill bit, the hardness of the formation and the coordination of drilling parameters. Generally speaking, the larger the size of the drill bit and the harder the formation, the smaller the footage; the smaller the size of the drill bit and the softer the formation, the greater the drill footage.
